Dressed in white for a midsummer night, a dîner en blanc, or a lovely summer sunset, feels beautiful and chique 💙. Spanish or chantilly lace looks beautiful on bare skin, paired with nude Valentino heels or white Choo’s. Lovely lace dresses are essential summer pieces, for example in the spring-summer collections by Valentino, Burberry and Chloé. Secondly, an embellished white dress is an essential daily luxury on summer days, for example by Altuzzara. Another white dress that is very en vogue is the silk slipdress, inspired by lingerie and nineties coolness (Balenciaga, Courrges, The Row). Lastly, with a minimalist mini dress with long sleeves, you can wear a beautiful clutch and embellished heels by Choo or Acquazzura, showing long tan legs. And for your man? He needs a classic white tuxedo jacket, black trousers and classy Choo’s for Cuban vibes.

Daily luxuries s/s 2016

The spring and summer collections for 2016 are beautiful and cool. The cool season began in New York with chic daywear inspired by the nineties. For example the slip dress is a summer essential, according to Courrges, Balenciaga, Givenchy and the Row. The spring-summer collections in NY had a minimalistic and romantic design with beautiful lines, from the dresses by DKNY, Tibi, Thakoon, Vera Wang, Altuzzara to Givenchy and Carolina Herrera. The chic day collection by Altuzzara, for example, was made of soft white dresses with beautiful beading and Spanish espadrilles. The collections by Alexander Wang, Vera Wang and Cushnie et Ochs had a more grungy and hiphop nineties style.

The inimitable collections by Dior, Chloé, and Balenciaga in Paris had a soft and delicate style. Summer lace is a lovely luxury for another summer season, as seen by Burberry. Balenciaga’s last collection by Alexander Wang had a soft tenderness with white day dresses in cotton, silk and lace, inspired by lingerie and nineties’ coolness. Balmain had a beautiful and feminine collection of daily luxuries in beige and brown tones with emerald green, in suede and macramé.

The escapism of the summer collections in Milan was made for romantic souls. The romantic collections are set in another time and in another place, from the desert nomad collection by Alberta Ferretti, the vintage world traveller collection by Gucci, the under the sea collection by Pucci, to the nostalgic Italia collection by Dolce & Gabbana.

Some women own a naturally beautiful style 🌺 You may find them within your family and friends, in magazines, in old movies, in fashion blogs, and in the streets and boutiques of beautiful cities like Barcelona, New York, Milan and Firenze. These beautiful, classy women are truly an inspiration to me. And also the cool kids, models, Brooklyn babies and fashion bloggers inspire me with their casual coolness. I love the mix of classic elements with my own casual and cool style. The new chic is presented by cool and comfy clothes in beautiful silhouettes, soft fabrics and textures. For example, a beige cashmere dress, a soft white tee with a Liu jo jeans and Valentino or Acquazzura heels, a white knit dress from Twin-Set or a beige silk dress from Patrizia Pepe with a denim jacket. A sporty cool style is upgraded by the softest materials and chic designs. While classy pieces are dressed down with a tee, denim and sneaks.
