The cool season in NY

The cool season in New York begins with fashion week. The beautiful spring and summer collections on the runway brought a cool and colorful crowd of fashion editors, bloggers and models. The bold and beautiful trends of the season were noticeable in the NY Streets. It is all about denim, high heels and cool bags. And the casual coolness and nonchalance of it all looked a little like New York in the nineties, back in the days.

Some women own a naturally beautiful style 🌺 You may find them within your family and friends, in magazines, in old movies, in fashion blogs, and in the streets and boutiques of beautiful cities like Barcelona, New York, Milan and Firenze. These beautiful, classy women are truly an inspiration to me. And also the cool kids, models, Brooklyn babies and fashion bloggers inspire me with their casual coolness. I love the mix of classic elements with my own casual and cool style. The new chic is presented by cool and comfy clothes in beautiful silhouettes, soft fabrics and textures. For example, a beige cashmere dress, a soft white tee with a Liu jo jeans and Valentino or Acquazzura heels, a white knit dress from Twin-Set or a beige silk dress from Patrizia Pepe with a denim jacket. I remember my daily luxury when I was growing up in the nineties. I remember when I bought my first cd, Crazy sexy cool by TLC. I loved Aaliyah, TLC, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Friends, Blossom, Sleepless in Seattle and Clueless. I loved the comfort and coolness of the nineties, the long hair, natural makeup, tees and jeans. The natural nonchalance of those days is a source of inspiration for the present. These are your daily luxuries inspired by the nineties for the cool season to come:

Denim and a tee, cool and distressed. A mini denim skirt is perfect 💙. The cool denim and tees from the Liu jo collection are beautiful! (A Liu jo store is opening in the PC Hooftstraat in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in the beginning of September 💙)
