Winter luxury πŸ’™

The winter is comingΒ πŸ’™ It is the season to be cozy at home, in beautiful cashmere knitwear with a lovely cup of tea. On a snowy day, it is also nice to be outside in the city and see all the x-mas decorations in the boutiques. Christmas time is here before you know it, and you may want to write down your x-mas wish list. In this winter chic edition, you will find my daily luxury for the chilly season to come.

πŸ’™ Tiffany and co: At the newly opened Blue Box Cafe in the beautiful boutique in New York, you can finally have breakfast at Tiffany’s (maybe in a winter weekend in NY). Secondly, Tiffany and co has launched a new luxurious home collection, including a diary in Tiffany blue. Oh and the mini diamant earrings are still on my x-mas wish list, too.

πŸ’™ Choo: I love my Choos in beige and blue, the chique winter knitwear with precious stones, and the white Choo trainers with a written label saying the obvious, “I want Choo”.

πŸ’™Burberry: The fall/winter collection combines knit dresses and sweaters with delicate lace. The beautiful combinations are suitable for any occasion, and can be dressed up or dressed down with Choo heels or trainers.

πŸ’™ Repeat Cashmere: The knitwear is soo soft with lovely little details, like cashmere laces on the sides. The cashmere collection comes in beautiful colors and subtle prints, which you can shop now with 15% discount in the online boutique.

…More winter chic items: an off the shoulder or laced cashmere sweater,Β the mini bag in blue by Furla, a limited edition coffee table book by Taschen on fashion design, Choo shawl with stones in blue, Tiffany’s mini diamant earrings, and Kopari’s caring sheer coconut oil for soft hair and dewy skin. Now what will be on your x-mas list this winter?

NYFW s/s collections 2018

The end of summer is always a little less sad with the beginning of New York Fashion Week, continuing the coming weeks in London, Milan, Madrid and Paris. Last week the most beautiful spring-summer collections for 2018 were presented in New York. NY was the perfect setting for the casual and cool, nineties inspired spring-summer collections 2018 presented to the fashion editors, bloggers, Brooklyn babies and models.

Alexander Wang had an actual streetway runway for his beautiful minimalist collection with mini dresses and a mix of nineties streetwear essentials. Oscar de la Renta‘s inimitable s/s collection for 2018 combined city chique daywear (stripes, t-shirt, denim, written words, and paint dots) with the beautiful signature dresses in delicate tule, organza and silk. Another s/s collection 2018 presented in NY that I loved, was the collection of cool oriental dresses by Tadashi Shoji, and the romantic dresses by Marchesa inspired by bygone days and faraway places.

Daily luxuries s/s 2016

The spring and summer collections for 2016 are beautiful and cool. The cool season began in New York with chic daywear inspired by the nineties. For example the slip dress is a summer essential, according to Courrges, Balenciaga, Givenchy and the Row. The spring-summer collections in NY had a minimalistic and romantic design with beautiful lines, from the dresses by DKNY, Tibi, Thakoon, Vera Wang, Altuzzara to Givenchy and Carolina Herrera. The chic day collection by Altuzzara, for example, was made of soft white dresses with beautiful beading and Spanish espadrilles. The collections by Alexander Wang, Vera Wang and Cushnie et Ochs had a more grungy and hiphop nineties style.

The inimitable collections by Dior, ChloΓ©, and Balenciaga in Paris had a soft and delicate style. Summer lace is a lovely luxury for another summer season, as seen by Burberry. Balenciaga’s last collection by Alexander Wang had a soft tenderness with white day dresses in cotton, silk and lace, inspired by lingerie and nineties’ coolness. Balmain had a beautiful and feminine collection of daily luxuries in beige and brown tones with emerald green, in suede and macramΓ©.

The escapism of the summer collections in Milan was made for romantic souls. The romantic collections are set in another time and in another place, from the desert nomad collection by Alberta Ferretti, the vintage world traveller collection by Gucci, the under the sea collection by Pucci, to the nostalgic Italia collection by Dolce & Gabbana.

The cool season in NY

The cool season in New York begins with fashion week. The beautiful spring and summer collections on the runway brought a cool and colorful crowd of fashion editors, bloggers and models. The bold and beautiful trends of the season were noticeable in the NY Streets. It is all about denim, high heels and cool bags. And the casual coolness and nonchalance of it all looked a little like New York in the nineties, back in the days.

πŸ’™ The distressed, loose fit, and boyfriend denim jeans are styled with a tee and top (Liu jo jeans, Twin-set, Pinko)

πŸ’™ The mini dresses are cool and comfortable in beautiful shades of blue, white or beige (Maje, Isabel Marant, Twin-Set)

πŸ’™ Blue denim and leather jackets (Armani jeans, Twin-Set)

πŸ’™ The choice of shoes: dress it all down with sneakers or upgrade the casual outfit with colorful high heels (Nike, Choo, Acquazzura, Valentino)

πŸ’™ The colorful, printed bags give a hint of color to blue denim and tees (Dolce & Gabbana, Choo, Valentino)
