Daily luxuries for the cool seasonΒ

Even though the summer has ended, you can still wear your lovely summer dresses, skirts and tops with a denim or leather jacket in the in between season. You can wear those beautiful winter cashmere dresses with bare legs, or a soft tee and Liu jo jeans with a down jacket. The in between season is very cool, as you can wear both summer and winter items in lovely combinations, and be inspired by both the winter collections that are in store now and the spring collections on the runway in New York, Milan and Paris. These are beautiful daily luxuries for the cool season to come πŸ’™.

πŸ’™ Winter white and lovely beige dresses in cashmere, cotton, lace and silk (Patrizia Pepe, Twin-Set)

πŸ’™ Blue denim and black leather jackets (Liu jo, Twin-Set)

πŸ’™ Blue down jackets (Liu jo) and beige cashmere overcoats (MaxMara, Patrizia Pepe)

πŸ’™ Warm and luscious cashmere scarfs (Repeat Cashmere)

πŸ’™ Beige suede or leather trainers (Jimmy Choo, Twin-Set, Hogan Rebel

Love her style πŸŒΊ

Some women own a naturally beautiful style 🌺 You may find them within your family and friends, in magazines, in old movies, in fashion blogs, and in the streets and boutiques of beautiful cities like Barcelona, New York, Milan and Firenze. These beautiful, classy women are truly an inspiration to me. And also the cool kids, models, Brooklyn babies and fashion bloggers inspire me with their casual coolness. I love the mix of classic elements with my own casual and cool style. The new chic is presented by cool and comfy clothes in beautiful silhouettes, soft fabrics and textures. For example, a beige cashmere dress, a soft white tee with a Liu jo jeans and Valentino or Acquazzura heels, a white knit dress from Twin-Set or a beige silk dress from Patrizia Pepe with a denim jacket. A sporty cool style is upgraded by the softest materials and chic designs. While classy pieces are dressed down with a tee, denim and sneaks. La bella cittΓ  di moda Firenze

In the 1920’s a bellboy in a chique hotel started designing beautiful, handmade pieces of leather luggage and travel bags for the chic and wealthy in Florence, italy. Grace Kelly and Jacky Kennedy loved his fine collection of bags. In the course of the 20th century the bellboy, Guccio Gucci, had created an empire with his family business in Firenze (Florence). The beautiful pieces of travel bags, suitcases and the clothing collections designed by Gucci, from the twenties to the present day, can be admired in the Gucci museum in Firenze.

Gucci is merely one of the inspirational success stories that are set in the bellissima cittΓ  di moda Firenze. Small scale family businesses in fine leather and wool have grown out to become fashion empires on which the sun doesn’t set. Sergio Rossi is another good example of this. The beautiful quality and design of its leather shoes has made Sergio Rossi an international success. Armani, Acquazzura, Patrizia Pepe, Pucci, and Salvatore Ferragamo are other examples of beautiful, internationally renowned brands that all started in the city of Firenze.

The Via de’ Tornabuoni is the most beautiful and chique street in the city center of Firenze, where you will find the boutiques of HermΓ¨s, Pucci, Tiffany’s, Bulgari, Dior and many more. La Piazza della Reppubblica is the historic square of the city and a perfect starting point to explore the boutiques in the small side streets Via Roma and Via Calziuoli, for example Fratelli Roselli, Liu Jo, Pollini, Luisa via Roma, La Rinascente. You may also find little family run shops where the shoes, bags and clothes are still being handmade.

Even though, Firenze is a perfect place for a shopping trip, you shouldn’t miss the cultural and architectural beauty of the city. Il Duomo, il Battistero, Piazza Signorina, Piazzale Michelangelo and il Giardino di Boboli are beautiful, breathtaking locations to explore in the city. And you have to try all the delicious dolci, icecream and pizza that Firenze has to offer. The beautiful boutiques, architecture and food make Firenze one of my favorite Italian cities πŸ’™.
